Summer Camp Schedule

We are offering several sports camp opportunities for middle school students!

Please join our highly trained and experienced coaches for a fun week of skills and drills training

Basketball

CAMP INFORMATION:

Water will be provided and campers will receive a Concordia High School Camp T-shirt as well as other prizes for contest winners. The camp directors will be Boys Varsity Head Coach Bob Lovett and Girls Varsity Head Coach Dez’ron Prater along with girls and boys varsity team members.  Camp will focus on fundamental skills including; ball handling, defense, shooting, rebounding and passing.

 

Basketball Camp # 2

Zion Lutheran School - Walburg

Who: All boys and girls entering 5th - 9th grade

Where: Zion Lutheran School Gym

Who: All boys and girls entering 5th – 9th grade

Camp # 3

Redeemer Lutheran School - Austin

Who: All boys and girls entering 5th – 9th grade

Where: Redeemer Lutheran School Gym

When: Monday, June 26 – Thursday, June 29

Time:  8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Cost: $75 per student

Volleyball

CAMP INFORMATION:

Water will be provided and campers will receive a Concordia High School Camp T-shirt as well as other prizes for contest winners. The camp director will be CHS Girls Varsity Head Coach CHS Nichole Allison, Athletic Development Program Coordinator at Austin Juniors Volleyball.  She will also be joined by CHS varsity team members who will serve as assistant coaches. This camps will focus on building fundamental skills development.

Football

CAMP INFORMATION:

The camp will be run by CHS Head Football Coach Andy Cheshire, a certified USA Football “Heads Up Tackling” instructor. The purpose is to provide an affordable opportunity for youth flag and tackle players to develop 1) a technique-driven skill-set that will increase safe participation, and 2) a team driven mindset to encourage them to engage in greater sportsmanship.  Students will be taught proper skills and each camper will receive a “Camper Assessment” from the coaching staff with specific areas of improvement and drills to continue their growth. Water will be provided and campers will receive a Concordia High School Camp T-shirt. Camp will be held indoors in a climate controlled building and on a field turf surface.
