Mrs. Lacey Kalbas, J.D.

Lacey obtained her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from The University of Texas at Austin. She is certified by the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as a Medical Technologist. She also holds a certificate in Paralegal Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.

Lacey’s goal is to hike and explore all the national parks. To date she has toured Acadia, Arches, Big Bend, Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands, Everglades, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Hawaii Volcanoes, Hot Springs, and made multiple trips to Yellowstone. National parks exemplify God’s glory through their majesty and beauty. The Apostle Paul declared in Romans 1:20, “For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.” To Lacey, the parks are a miniscule glimpse of the beauty that awaits believers in heaven.

Lacey is married to Jordan Kalbas. They have been blessed with four children, Henry, Ruby, Gwyn, and Eva. Her most recent addition to the family is a long-haired miniature dachshund, The General. Her favorite Bible verse is from 2 Corinthians 12:9. “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” In this verse, God affirms that His abundant grace is more than enough for us and worrying about falling short is pointless. In fact, God’s boundless grace is magnified when we are at our weakest. Through Him, He turns our situation into one that brings Him glory.
