Family

Join a Family

CHS Family Groups create a tight-knit Christian community where students from all grade levels grow spiritually and relationally through weekly gatherings led by student leaders. With 11 groups of 11–12 students each, Family Groups ensures meaningful connections across grades. Students are sorted into their Family in their first year at CHS and are in the same family for all four years.

By blending spiritual growth with practical leadership development, Family Groups cultivate servant-hearted graduates prepared to lead Christ-centered lives beyond high school.

Devotions

Pray Together

Sophomore to senior Christian Leaders meet twice weekly to plan devotionals rooted in Scripture and develop leadership skills.

Beyond fellowship, the program equips both participants and leaders with lifelong tools. Younger students gain a stronger faith foundation through peer-led discipleship and the consistency of small-group community, where the small size ensures every student has a voice in their Family.

Family Fun

Play Together

Each Friday, student leaders guide their mixed-grade “families”—carefully balanced with Freshmen through Seniors—through devotions, meals, and games.

Christian Leaders

Build Leaders

Christian Leaders, meanwhile, hone real-world skills like teaching biblical concepts to diverse age groups, planning, and practicing empathetic leadership.
