Band
Play in Concert
The simmering percussion, the glittering woodwinds, the triumphant brass, all working together to make unforgettable music. Band has been a part of Concordia Music since our beginnings and it continues to be a vital part of our Fine Arts programs. Band students learn the discipline it takes to master the idiosyncrasies of their own instrument as well as how to make their instrument sound good while playing with others. In 2016, Concordia Drumline made its debut and it has been a staple of Homecoming festivities ever since. Band students perform for our annual Christmas and Spring Concerts, for TAPPS Music, and for other unique events scheduled each year. Meet our Music Director.
Choir
Sing in Harmony
“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.” (Psalm 96:1) Singing is simultaneously one of the simplest and most difficult things to do. Choir at Concordia focuses on learning to sing well in a healthy way so that our singers gain the skills and confidence to excel at challenging repertoire. Students in Choir sing for our annual Christmas and Spring concerts, for TAPPS Music, and for other events scheduled each year. Our Choir also has the recent distinction of earning TAPPS State Vocal Champion in 2024! Meet our Music Director.
Drama
Tell Them a Story
“Inside each of us is a natural-born storyteller, waiting to be released.” - Robin Moore
We connect to each other and to the world around us through stories. In Drama at Concordia, students learn the skills necessary to tell engaging stories as both actors and technicians. They also learn to work together, to trust each other, and to connect with their audience. A story can be as silly as a mediocre middle school science fair and as serious as surviving genocide, but a good story, well told, brings everyone in the room closer together and is a shared bond for all. Come tell stories with us. Meet our Drama Director.

Musical
Give Them a Show
Started in 2014 by Mr. Schatte and Mr. Weil with a production of Cinderella, the musical at Concordia has been an annual tradition ever since. Due to their integration of all the arts, musicals have the capacity to pull a community together like few other events. So, whether you are a singer, an actor, a dancer, a technician, a builder, a painter, a mover, a cleaner, an organizer, a helper, or a friend, join us in putting on a musical! Meet our Music Director and our Stage Director.
