The Beginning
In 2000, the delegates of the Lutheran School Association of the Greater Austin Area (LSAGAA) voted to start a Lutheran high school in Austin, Texas.
In the fall of 2002, Concordia Academy (now known as Concordia High School) opened with 38 ninth-grade students on the campus of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
During the summer of 2012, Concordia High School (CHS) relocated to temporary facilities on the campus of Grace Christian Center at 1500 Royston Lane, Round Rock, Texas allowing us to get closer to our future permanent campus.
In March of 2018, LSAGAA purchased a 67,000 square foot building located on eight acres of land located at 1201 S. Heatherwilde Blvd. Pflugerville, TX 78660.
With construction underway, CHS relocated temporarily to Our Savior Lutheran Church & School for the fall semester of 2021.
The first phase of construction included classrooms, science department, cafetorium, administration offices and an athletics training center. Phase one was completed in late January of 2022.
The first day of school held on the new Heatherwilde Campus took place on Monday, January 31, 2022. The formal Dedication and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
Where are we now? Now we are at 1201 South Heatherwilde Blvd, Pflugerville, TX 78660
It is a blessing to be in our new permanent home. Just as we prepare our students for a dynamic world, we also truly adjust. We are expanding more and more every year. In 2024 we added 3 brand new classrooms, and we hope for more additions to come!
