Mrs. Linnea Wilkerson B.A.
Linnea Wilkerson is a dedicated teacher in the STARs (Student Aid and Resource) Program at CHS. A graduate of Xavier University in New Orleans—her dream college just 60 miles from her Mississippi hometown—she brings 30 years of teaching experience, including the last ten at CHS.
During college summers, Linnea worked at the Naval Oceanographic Office at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. She enjoys reading books on personal growth and faith, including The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman.
Her 21-year-old son, Isaac, impressed her during the “stay-at-home” mandate by cooking healthy and delicious meals for their family. Linnea also has a love for giraffes, with a collection of over 50 figurines, and a fascination with monster trucks, a passion inspired by growing up with two brothers—one now a mechanic.
Her favorite color, blue, represents faith, trust, and wisdom, qualities she brings to CHS every day. We are grateful for Linnea’s commitment to our students and her role in our exceptional teaching team.
